High School Highlights High school students have been taking a deep dive into the history of the Renaissance, including a fun, “Where’s Waldo?”-style activity where they searched for Raphael’s self-portrait hidden in his famous painting, “The School of Athens”. In World Literature class, students have been exploring ancient Greek theatre and have begun reading the first play of Sophocles’ Theban Trilogy, Oedipus the King. Stay tuned for more updates as our students continue to explore history, literature, and the arts with curiosity and creativity! |

In case you missed the email…
We have some exciting updates to share with you!
1. Big News – Anacapa is Growing!
It’s official: Anacapa will be adding 6th grade starting in the 2026–27 school year! We’re thrilled to expand and welcome younger students into our community. Cohorts in the Middle School (grades 6-8 beginning in the 26/27 school year) will still be multi-age, but each cohort (class) will still be capped at 10-12 students. Please help spread the word -- tell your friends and families who may be interested!
2. Thank You & Annual Fund
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Back-to-School Night! We shared our Annual Fund slideshow that evening, and if you weren’t able to see the slideshow, you can view it here: Annual Fund Slideshow The Annual Fund is vital to supporting programs and opportunities for our students. Please consider making a gift: Every contribution makes a difference - thank you for your support!
3. Trip Updates Spring Outdoor Adventure or Service Opportunity (Mar 24-27, 2026): We anticipate that this offering will be a 3-day trip/ day trips expeditions with two choices, an outdoors adventure and a volunteer/service option. More information to follow as plans are finalized.
We’re looking forward to an incredible year of learning, adventure, and community! |

We truly value your partnership in helping us make Anacapa School the best it can be for our students and families. To better understand your needs, we are inviting you to complete a short survey.
This survey will give us important insights into:
* What drew your family to choose our school * What types of after-school programs and activities your child would be most interested in
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey here: Family Interest Survey The survey should take no more than 5–7 minutes.
Your feedback will help us strengthen our community and create after-school opportunities that support both student growth and family needs.
Thank you for your time and valuable input!
