| | | | | | Watching Jaxon’s journey at Anacapa has been nothing short of inspiring. His growth over the last two years is a true testament to his determination, heart, and resilience. Jaxon has emerged as a leader on campus, someone who rises to the occasion even when challenges come his way, showing strength and character when it matters most. He leads with honesty, respect, and a deep sense of responsibility, always willing to step up when others may not. Whether it’s offering a helping hand or sharing his own experiences to encourage others, Jaxon never misses a chance to lift those around him.
His willingness to jump into action, support his peers, and speak with authenticity shows just how much he’s grown and the incredible path he’s paving for himself. There’s no doubt Jaxon will continue to be a powerful and positive force as he steps into the next chapter of his journey. Anacapa is better because of him, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead! -Jacob Pepper |
| It's been a pleasure getting to know Jaxon as his advisor these last two years. I always appreciate his intelligence and his willingness to help and do what's needed. I wish him all the best in his post-graduation future! -Diego Villarreal |
| Jaxon is so fun to teach in English -- he has a mind like a steel trap. Often during class discussions, if I want someone to recall a specific piece of literary or historical knowledge, Jaxon is the one to do it! I also love hearing his infectious laughter around campus. And, of course, there is his proficiency at being our D&D club's Dungeon Master. So many of our younger students flock to the D&D table during lunch to play and look to Jaxon to lead the way. -Mari Talkin |

| Over the past two years at Anacapa School, Jaxon has discovered a true sense of belonging; a place where he can let his personality shine. Though he was a bit reserved when he first arrived, Jaxon has grown into a confident leader, both in the classroom and on campus more generally. He consistently approaches his studies with focus and determination, always striving to understand even the most challenging material. Outside the classroom, Jaxon is known for his passion for Dungeons & Dragons. Whether it's recalling the most esoteric bits of lore or crafting an epic campaign, his enthusiasm is unmistakable. Every day at lunch, Jaxon steps into the role of Dungeon Master, leading the D&D club through adventures that he carefully prepares in advance. Jaxon’s continued leadership makes him a standout member of our community. -Brian Lunardi |
| Jaxon is always ready to help others and shows kindness in everything he does. He also has a great sense of humor that makes everyone smile and laugh. -Marine Revel |

Jaxon has been our lunchtime Dungeon Master, leading epic D & D quests and unforgettable adventures. Your creativity and leadership will be missed next year! |

| | | | | | | | | | | | | Chemistry Students Investigate Water Quality in Mission Creek |
| For the last two weeks, our Chemistry students have gone into the field to investigate water quality along the Mission Creek watershed. Using chemical test kits, students visited four diverse sites, from the more wild headwaters in Rattlesnake Canyon down through the more urbanized areas, such as the end of Mission creek next to the harbor. Their goal was to answer a big question: How does human activity at different parts of a watershed affect water quality?
At each location, students measured key indicators like pH, nitrates, phosphates, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen. They also observed and documented visible pollutants such as trash. Back in the classroom, students analyzed their data and created graphs and maps that helped them connect changes in water quality to land use. They explored how urbanization, agriculture, and natural landscapes influence the health of our waterways and proposed ideas for how pollution in our watershed could be reduced. |
