Drama

This class is designed for students who love to act and want to learn more. We will use theater games, improvisation, and character study to expand our knowledge of the art of acting and theatrical production. The first semester of work will culminate in a showcase featuring the student's work on audition-style monologues. The students will perform at least two monologues in any combination of comedic, dramatic, classical, and contemporary. These monologues and the student's involvement in the production will be used as a basis for future casting in the second semester production, should the student choose to re-enroll next semester.  Click here to see info for our 2010 Spring Play!

Chorus (Salli Eve): This course is designed for ALL students who like to sing! You don't have to be a great singer to have fun singing. This course will cover breath control, diction, tone quality, and sight singing. We will sing a large repertoire of music including jazz, show tunes, traditional choral music, and even rock and roll. Students will choose performance pieces for the Grassroots production.
