The Anacapa School offers a wide array of
elective sports classes. Courses vary each semester. Recent offerings
have included soccer, basketball, kickboxing, volleyball, swimming,
softball, squash, sailing and surfing.
Most of our sports classes meet two afternoons a week for an hour and fifty
minutes each time. Classes are co-educational and are open to all students in
grades 7-12.
Our sports program focuses
on:
· Fostering good sportsmanship,
enthusiasm, and cooperation
· Promoting health and fitness
· Developing technical skills
· Having fun!

In addition to sport classes,
Anacapa students enjoy other physical activities such as hiking, camping,
softball games, kayaking, running, and yoga in various settings throughout
the school year.
