Trips and Outings at The Anacapa School
Because
trips bring people together to share a common adventure, they are a very
important part of the “personal/social” dimension of The Anacapa School.
Since its founding in 1981, our school has undertaken more than 50
overnight camping trips, numerous day excursions, ski trips,
and six summer expeditions to Europe. The students also participate in
several local field trips each year as part of the Anacapa Curriculum.
Anacapa’s central downtown location and small size make it possible for
our students to go places, meet people, and do things that most other
students don’t have an opportunity to do.
