On February 14, 2008, Anacapa took two separate all-day field trips to Los Angeles. Students in grades 10-12 visited the Getty Villa in Malibu, and had the opportunity to participate in various activities as they toured the Villa and admired the incredible art exhibit there and the outside gardens.

The Anacapa students who are currently in grades 7 - 9 visited the La Brea Tar Pits and the Petersen Automotive Museum.
