My experience at Anacapa has confirmed my love of teaching and literature.  It is a gift to read, write, and learn with my students.  Their fresh eyes give me new perspectives, images, and themes in each novel, poem, and play we read.  The sizes of my classes here at Anacapa allow me to work with each student on his or her individual needs.

 Prior to coming to Anacapa, Beth spent two years working at Goleta Valley Junior High School as a Youth Service Specialist. This position included teaching, advising, referring to community resources, organizing and leading field trips, and one-on-one counseling with students.
