Seeing students get excited about learning is my favorite part of being a teacher.  The spark in their eyes is almost like a light being turned on.  As I look back over my years of teaching, I see a string of bright, twinkling bulbs.

Suzie has studied watercolor, ceramics, enameling, and graphic design. She worked as a commercial artist for four years before helping to found The Anacapa School. Suzie's artistic background has been a big impetus to developing the school's outstanding art program. Suzie continues to paint on her own, and her exhibitions of watercolor paintings in one-artist shows in 1996 and 2001 were very well received in the Santa Barbara community. Suzie has taught multiple subjects at Anacapa since its founding in 1981
