“A different language is a different vision of life.” Federico Fellini

Being a teacher at Anacapa has given me the joy of sharing my language: Spanish; my culture: Mexican; and my passion: music.  I have found that working in a school with a family-style environment helps the students to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.  I have also experienced a unique relationship with the students, not only knowing them through their academic thoughts, but also knowing their hearts.  If we open our minds to this diverse world, it will allow us to understand each other, and we will be better human beings.
