Paula Campanelli: Ceramics
Go back

“We shape clay into a pot, but it is the emptiness inside that holds whatever we want.” Unknown

It is my hope at Anacapa, through patience and cooperation, to help the student develop their imagination and give them the skills necessary to allow them to solve the problems that occur in order to create their own unique vision in clay.  Using this approach to learning, they will learn flexibility by adjusting to the demands of ceramics and will develop the necessary skills to help them feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work.
