The Anacapa School is
committed to providing a personal and challenging college preparatory
education for all students. Our curriculum is built upon solid core
classes, a wide range of electives, and a strong emphasis on critical
thinking. With an average class size of 12, our dedicated faculty
members strive to provide each student with an open, creative, and
inspirational learning environment.
Upper School
Graduation Requirements
The minimum
academic course requirements for graduation from the Upper School are:
• 4 years of
English
● 4 years of History
● 3 years of Foreign Language
● 3 years of Mathematics
● 2 years of Fine Arts
● 2 years of Lab Sciences (including both a biological and a physical
science)
Anacapa's
academic requirements exceed those of the State Board of Education, as
well as the University of California entrance requirements.
